On March 24, 2023, a special charitable fundraiser dinner was held in honour of the late Hazel McCallion, the beloved and longtime former Mayor of Mississauga. Hosted and generously sponsored by Summit Garden Chinese Cuisine in Mississauga, the evening brought together community members for a memorable dinner and live music performance celebrating her remarkable legacy of leadership and service. All proceeds from the event were donated to Trillium Health Partners Foundation, continuing Hazel’s lifelong commitment to strengthening healthcare and supporting the well-being of our community.
